Position: (DoD) Safe Helpline marketing and communications Intern
Reporting to: Safe Helpline Communications Program Manager
Operated by Rape Abuse & Incest National Network, Safe Helpline is the Department of Defense's (DoD) sole hotline for members of the DoD community affected by sexual assault. Safe Helpline is a completely anonymous, confidential, 24/7, specialized service-providing help and information anytime, anywhere. A Safe Helpline user can access one-on-one support, peer-to-peer support, information, resources, and self-care exercises to aid in their recovery. Since 2011, Safe Helpline has provided support and resources to thousands of members of the DoD community.
Job Responsibilities:
The Safe Helpline marketing and communications intern will support the Safe Helpline team with marketing and communications projects and initiatives, with a focus on the Safe Helpline services and the population served. They will be tasked with brainstorming and coming up with new and creative ways to reach the DoD community. In this position, the Marketing Intern will gain a deep understanding of our brand strategies and marketing efforts.

This is an unpaid, part-time position and requires a minimum of 12 hours per week. We will work with the student and university to ensure college credit is given for the internship, if applicable.
