The company remained headquartered there until Hurricane Katrina, when the decision was made to move the company headquarters to Milwaukee, WI. Patient Care is an independent advocacy company whose sole purpose is to resolve a healthcare problem or assist a member with health insurance and benefit issues. Advocates also provide specific hospital and physician cost and quality information to members through the "Call First" program.
