What You Can Expect

Transaction Management:

  • Create, manage pipeline, and execute short- & long-range leasing assignments worldwide (Americas, APAC, EMEA, and India) in response to approved business unit requirements.
  • Implement real estate strategies that are balanced with corporate governance compliance and standards, as well as real estate strategy/space guidelines as developed within the Corporate Real Estate & Workplace organization.
  • Secure market data and intelligence to inform new property acquisitions, renewals, or dispositions of excess space related to growth, contraction, consolidation, and M&A portfolio initiatives.
  • Provide guidance to Finance for AOP, project budgets, site restructures as well as data for other reporting requirements of the Company (10K and Annual Reports).
  • Collaborate with regional delivery teams, assemble and reconcile the information necessary to build business cases, and to help ensure alignment between portfolio strategies with business objectives.
  • Assist Space Occupancy and Facility Managers to identify and prioritize portfolio improvement opportunities consistent with the overall portfolio optimization plan and developing alternatives to capture these opportunities.
  • Manage entity registration offices and coordinating entity requirements with Tax, Legal, HR and Compliance.
  • Partner with Finance, internal & external Legal and Project Management for execution and delivery alignment, respectively.

Lease Administration:

  • Responsible for day-to-day oversite of outsourced Lease Administration provider activities, including review, quality control, and process improvement of:
    • Monthly Accounts Payable Variance reporting
    • Monthly Accounts Receivable Variance reporting
    • Lease Abstractions
    • Self-audit program
    • Desktop and Full-scope Audit Program
    • Database Migration

Lease Accounting/Finance

  • Coordinate and manage weekly transaction activity updates regarding in-flight assignments, lease contract negotiations, new lease abstractions and workflow reports.
  • Single point of contact for internal audit (SOX compliance) and external audit related to Real Estate Lease Accounting.
  • Approver of lease abstracts as relates to 842 accounting impacts and adjustment of accounting schedules as needed for timing/proration of rent.
  • Coordination with Finance on restructure accounting activities, including asset retirement obligation (ARO) updates.

Portfolio Management

  • Lead creation of reporting materials to measure portfolio efficiency and effectiveness (various cost, occupancy and flexibility metrics).
  • Generate portfolio analytics that will support data-driven decision making for managing the global portfolio.

Service Contracts

  • Oversee the review and negotiation of multi-site service contracts for the corporate real estate organization.
  • Negotiate scopes of service, direct and indirect costs, fees, and terms and conditions through interaction with Marvell subject matter experts.

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor's Degree in finance, accounting, or related areas of study.
  • 15+ years of experience and a demonstrable understanding of real estate transactions, lease administration, lease accounting, and portfolio management.
  • Excellent financial acumen and attention to detail.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills using the English language, both oral and written, including advanced negotiation skills

Expected Base Pay Range (USD)

175,900 - 260,300, $ per annum

The successful candidate's starting base pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location and market conditions. The expected base pay range for this role may be modified based on market conditions.

This role is eligible for our hybrid work model in which you will be able to split time between working from home and on-site in a Marvell office.
