Nokia of America Corporation, R&D Technical Manager (Multiple Positions) Bellevue, WA.

Salary Range: $137,654 - $ 226,673 USD per year

WORK SCHEDULE: 40 hours per week, M-F (9:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m.)


Nokia of America Corporation, R&D Technical Manager(Multiple Positions) Bellevue, WA. Act as primary technical interface and escalation point within assigned customer projects addressing project scope, execution, and critical program issues. Plan, initiate, and coordinate information technology projects and technical deliverables for Nokia's 5G portfolio, SRAN, and underlying technologies. Provide direction to the engineering team on technical problems, processes and operations. Coordinate technical team of subject matter experts across design, development, testing and acceptance to ensure relevant standards are adhered to. Assess hardware and software quality and develop test tools to increase test effectiveness. Introduce and evaluate new capabilities in customer lab and field environments. Maintain internal and external tracking of tickets. Support technical efforts to define and validate customer specific parameter requirements for project completion. Engage customer in technical meetings to present Nokia's software solutions, debate their efficacy, and incorporate customer feedback into resolution processes.#LI-DNI


JOB REQUIREMENTS: Must have a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Electronic Engineering, Telecommunications, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, and 6 years of related work experience, of which 5 years is post-bachelor's, progressive related work experience. Alternatively, employer will accept a Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Electronic Engineering, Telecommunications, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, and 4 years of related work experience.

Of the required experience, must have 4 years of experience with the following: L1, L2, or L3 Radio Frequency (RF) software operations and maintenance; 3GPP standards; QXDM, wireshark, and iperf; Radio Module and System Module Hardware or RAN system design, logging, testing, automation and scripting; development of Multimode RF software drivers, GSM L1, 4g MAC Layer or 5G L2-PS Software.

Of the required experience, must have 3 years of experience with: Testing and verification of new 4G/5G FDD/TDD Radio access features.

Travel to various locations throughout the US required up to 15%.
