Director of Client Services, Commercial

The Director of Client Services, Commercial, is responsible for the relationship management, retention, growth and the annual strategic business plan that will provide growth and continuous improvement to assigned pod/team. Assigned pod/team will be a current CL/TM customer with a high level of operating complexity and revenues of $5M or greater and be core to the GEODIS market lines and CL strategic plan tied to a specific vertical and sector strategy. The Director of Client Services will be participating on the development and delivery of the in-year EBITDA budget and Growth objectives for the pod/team portfolio by accepting responsibility for the profitability of the pod/team through participation and inputs of financial budgets and forecasts.

ABOUT THE ROLE:

  • Monitors & supports assigned accounts, including understand scope and contractual terms of each assigned account and providing a weekly update to SVP, CSO and direct manager on all activities of the accounts
  • Develops and executes a Key Account Annual Business Plan for all clients that fall into team portfolio, including SWOT analysis, competitive analysis, new business and retention opportunities and strategic client initiatives
  • Executes the commercial duties for each opportunity with assigned pod/team, clients in the Customer Centricity matrix, including leading the development of the solution, RFP response and value proposition

EXPERIENCE:
* Minimum 4 years of related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of
education
* Knowledge of global supply chain management
* Contract logistics and transportation management operations preferred
* Proven Ability to negotiate profitable partner relationships in a 3PL environment with tier 1
customers
* Proven Strong Financial acumen
